Job Description:
My client is a multinational hospitality chain of leased and franchised hotels, homes, and living spaces. They are looking for a Partnerships Manager to drive business into their Hotels.
Previous sales experience within hotel sales and dealing with local government clients would be advantageous.
* This role involves driving demand to partner hotels through offline partnerships, including corporates, travel agents, and local sources such as hospitals, event spaces, and travel hubs.
* Identify and establish relationships with offline partners at national and local levels, and manage these accounts.
* Drive sales through cold calling and meetings with potential clients and organizations.
* Identify, onboard, and develop channel partners and explore demand avenues through market research.
* Manage the end-to-end sales process from qualifying clients to closing deals and maintaining accounts within a specific region.
* Understand client requirements and tailor the product pitch accordingly.
* Maintain monthly sales tracking and review performance against targets.
* Provide feedback on market conditions, competition, and pricing strategies.
* This is a hands-on sales role with specific targets for acquiring new business.
* The regional focus is to develop micro markets that generate bookings into local hotels.
* Take ownership of offline demand targets and deliver results.
* Engage with accounts through marketing and promotional activities.
* Develop a deep understanding of partner hotels, liaising with owners and property managers.
* Understand demand channels and drive offline demand accordingly.
* Collaborate with the Product team to develop supporting technology.
* Work with the Finance team to ensure proper reporting, dashboards, and timely recovery of monies.
We are looking for candidates who have:
* Experience with and a professional network in tour operators, travel agencies, and group demand providers.
* Previous experience in a commercial role within a hotel or wholesaler is a plus.
* Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
* Organized, structured, and capable of working independently.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
