Role Overview
The Meadows School (Sandwell) (SIPS) is seeking a hard‑working, caring assistant to support SEND students in a friendly, committed team. The role involves supervising children at meal times and in the playground, and supporting them with personal care.

* Support students with all aspects of personal care, including toileting and changing, and ensure they are fed according to individual needs.
Hours, Salary and Location
Hours: 15 hours per week, term‑time plus 5 training days.
Salary: Grade C, SCP 5‑8, £25,583 – £26,824 (Actual Salary, £9,254 – £9,828 pro‑rata per annum).
Location: The Meadows School, Dudley Road East, Oldbury, B69 3BU / Connor Road, West Bromwich, B71 3DJ. The post may be based at either of the two sites.
Legal and Security Checks
All applicants will be subject to a rigorous, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check, including a Children’s Barring List Check. Applicants barred from working with children cannot apply.
The post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016); therefore, fluent spoken English is an essential requirement.
