Calling all environmental champions! We're in search of a dedicated Environmental Technician for the aftercare of a number of closed and restored landfills who shares our passion for a cleaner environment.
In return, we offer a salary of £32,291 plus the potential to earn an On Call-Out Allowance, up to 10% Bonus, Company vehicle, Company Pension, 25 Holiday Days + Bank Holiday, and Benefits Catalogue.

What will I be doing?
* Supporting the day-to-day operations of closed landfills within your regional landfill energy cluster, spanning a medium-sized geographical area.
* Supervising landfill energy operations, restoration projects, gas management and generation, as well as leachate treatment plants (LTP's).
* Oversee aftercare activities, ensuring long-term land health and biodiversity net gain.
* Manage contractors involved in habitat restoration projects, ensuring quality and adherence to plans.
* Independently handle tasks like tree maintenance, grass maintenance, and more.
* Collecting and analysing environmental data using specialist equipment (full training provided).
Working hours are 07:00 - 16:00, however we can be flexible on both starts and finish times- we believe in the balance of a good work/family life.
We're looking for someone who:
* Thrives in a hands-on environment and is comfortable working independently.
* Possesses a strong interest in biodiversity and habitat creation.
* Is physically fit and enjoys spending time outdoors, with some travel required.
* Ideally has experience in aftercare land management, landfill site operations, or a related field.
* Has the ability to supervise landfill energy technical maintenance contractors and suppliers.
* Demonstrates a commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
