Role Overview
We are now hiring for Senior & Principal Wastewater Modellers to join the team on a hybrid basis from our office in Birmingham. The main focus of the role will be supporting our various clients on their AMP8 and beyond programmes of work, including SOAF, WINEP, DWMP, along with catchment studies as required.
Key Responsibilities
 * Support clients on AMP8 and beyond programmes, including SOAF, WINEP, DWMP, and catchment studies as required.
 * Lead and manage a team of Hydraulic Modellers and other technical staff to provide an exemplary service to established and new clients.
 * Develop engineering solutions to flooding issues and work with the modelling teams to optimise these solutions as part of WINEP, SOAF and DWMP studies.
 * Implement hydraulic modelling using InfoWorks ICM and InfoAsset Manager.
 * Take an active role in national urban drainage activities and development of innovative ideas.
 * Work on Integrated Catchment Models and develop a team of Hydraulic Modellers and other technical staff.
 * Lead a small team of Modellers working on Integrated Urban Drainage projects.
 * Assist with the financial and technical management of projects.
 * Liaise with clients, statutory authorities and stakeholders.
 * Assist with the development of new techniques and skills, preparing reports and checking work done by others.
 * Mentor and upskill the modelling staff in the optioneering process.

Qualifications
 * 5–8 years of proven UK experience using InfoWorks ICM.
 * Highly proficient computer and technical skills.
 * Chartered member or approaching Chartered status (Principal).
 * Ability to effectively manage workload.
 * Good communication skills.
 * Self‑motivated, able to work under pressure and behave as a team leader.
 * Good relationship builder with clients in both the public and private sectors.
