We have a professional and dedicated imaging team committed to providing a first class service to our patients and clinical users. We are a busy department working 7.5hrs a day across 5 days per week and the successful candidates will be required to work 9.30am-5.30pm Main duties of the job The post involves the transporting of waste/Linen from all areas of the hospital to the different departments & transporting of bloods/specimens/fluids & ad-hoc duties. The post holder will be expected to liaise with the ward/ staff regarding the safe transfer of the patient including any equipment (e.g. drip stands/infusion pumps/chest drains etc) and personal belongings. The post holder will be expected to maintain the privacy and dignity of patients at all times and to behave in a manner demonstrating care and compassion to patients and their escorts. They are also responsible for the transfer of deceased patients to the mortuary.
