Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team. As an on-site Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections and repairs on heavy commercial vehicles to VOSA standard. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
\n Preparing vehicles for MOT \n· Reactive Maintenance of all company fleet including all types of HGV vehicles \n· Replacing tyres, battery replacements and brake work \n· Diagnosing and rectifying minor electrical and mechanical faults \n· Comply with health and safety policy and guidance documents \n· You must be a qualified HGV mechanic with a professionally recognised qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and repair (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)\n· HGV Licence holder and CPC desirable \n· Qualified – City and Guilds Level 3 HGV or equivalent desirable \n Job Types: Full-time, Permanent \n Pay: £20.00-£28.00 per hour \n Free parking \n* Life insurance \n MOT prep: 1 year (preferred)\n* Break Testing: 1 year (preferred)\n*
