We are currently seeking a Boxstore Operative to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe – Bodmin. Key Information: • Competitive Rates of Pay • Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent • Shift: Monday-Friday • Hours: 06:30am – 16:30pm Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the receipt, storage, and onward transportation of labels, films, sleeves, cartons, and other packaging goods. • Ensure timely and accurate unloading, storage, and distribution of stock to correct locations across the site. • Maintain accurate records, complete stock takes, and monitor stock levels. • Ensure all equipment is safe to operate and always used within the designated boxing area. • Assist with quality checking and correct labelling to avoid mix-ups. • Maintain 5S standards and support smooth operations across the Box Store area. • Undertake additional training or duties as required. Key Accountabilities: • Report and resolve stock discrepancies. • Communicate clearly with internal teams and management. • Handle delivery paperwork, check and store goods correctly, and resolve any issues with incoming materials. • Support continuous improvement and uphold site policies, quality, and safety procedures. Skills & Knowledge: • Strong computer skills. • Experience using stock management systems (e.g., Arolink). • Understanding of daily production planning and basic financial implications. • Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines. • High attention to detail and accuracy.
