A permanent opportunity has arisen for the Property Department, Estates Division to recruit an Estates Manager based at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee and have senior management responsibilities across NHS Tayside to assist the Head of Estates to meet the strategic and operational objectives within NHS Tayside.
Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance of service within agreed Statutory, Mandatory, Safety, Environmental, Quality Standards, Policies and Procedures.
* Design, Project Manage and implement all delegated projects and tasks.
* Deputise for the Head of Estates as required.
* The post holder may be required to work at any NHS Tayside Property as necessary.
* Maintain all plant, equipment, Estates Division transport and grounds at NHS Tayside Hospital and Health care sites in a satisfactory, operational condition through the provision of a cost-effective maintenance service and to agreed quality, statutory, safety and environmental performance standards.
* Maintain the highest standard of patient and staff environment and service from the resources available.
* The Postholder is responsible for the revenue and capital budgets allocated under their delegated authority and all Estates staff under their remit.
* Participation in an on-call rota and the ability to travel between NHS sites are required.
Qualifications and requirements
* You will be required to achieve the mandatory Inductions standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
