Controls Engineer - The Role:
* Design and implement control systems including Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, and Schneider PLCs
* Develop and manage HMI SCADA systems for optimal operational efficiency
* Create Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and I/O Schedules in line with project requirements
* Interpret P&ID's to ensure accurate system configuration and performance
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by staying abreast of industry trends and technologies
Controls Engineer - The Person:
* Proven experience in PLC/Controls Engineering
* Proficiency with Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, or Schneider PLCs
* Strong skills in HMI SCADA systems
* Ability to read and interpret P&ID's
* Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
* A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Located in Nottinghamshire, this role would be commutable from Nottingham, Leicester, Derby and can be highly hybrid with the majority of time either work from home or up to 40% at client site across the East of England with monthly meetings at head office in Nottinghamshire.
