We are recruiting two Band 6 CAMHS Practitioners for the Southwark CAMHS Early Help Team. The post holders will act as care coordinators, assessing and treating children and young people in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (MDT). They will also support and advise parents and carers, and provide consultation to professional networks.
Main duties of the job
o Participate as a multidisciplinary team member in assessment and treatment of referred children and young people.
o Ensure accurate, up-to-date, and high-quality recording and reporting of client contact, adhering to professional standards.
o Maintain a safe therapeutic environment working with the team and clients.
o Uphold professional standards and attitudes towards the care of children, young people, and their families.
o Collaborate with statutory and voluntary agencies, maintaining good relationships and communication channels.
