Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) – Bishop’s Stortford
Are you a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) looking for your next opportunity in Bishop’s Stortford? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) to join a welcoming and supportive early years setting located close to the town centre.
This role is ideal for a committed Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) who thrives in a nurturing environment and is eager to support children in their early development. The setting is easily accessible via public transport, and for those who drive, there is a convenient staff car park available.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, between 7:30am – 6:00pm (shift patterns within these hours)
Salary
From £14.25 per hour (minimum)
Role & Responsibilities
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
* Provide high-quality care and education to children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* Support children’s learning and development through play-based activities
* Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
* Ensure a safe, secure, and stimulating environment at all times
* Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
* Promote positive behaviour and inclusivity within the setting
* Follow safeguarding policies and procedures
Requirements & Qualifications
* Hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years
* Have previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
* Possess a good understanding of the EYFS framework
* Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Be passionate about supporting children’s development and wellbeing
* Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check
