Role Overview
Utilize your scientific expertise and language skills to join the world's leading pharmaceutical safety services organization. Work in a fast-growing team providing medical information call center services. Apply your knowledge to review, assess, and process safety and product quality information, ensuring the safety profiles of products worldwide. Opportunities for project oversight and team leadership exist.
Responsibilities
1. Provide phone support to healthcare professionals and consumers regarding adverse events, product quality complaints, medical inquiries, and other needs (excluding commercial sales support).
2. Receive, triage, review, and process safety data, including data entry, coding medical terminology, writing narratives, generating queries, quality control, reconciliation, case closure, and coordinating translations.
3. Document incoming safety reports from calls or emails from investigative sites or other sources.
4. Foster a collaborative team environment, lead by example, and mentor less experienced team members.
5. Maintain effective communication within the safety team and liaise proactively with the Project Manager to identify issues and propose solutions.
6. Participate in training and working groups for new initiatives related to lifecycle safety processes.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Must be a licensed Pharmacist.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum C1) and German (minimum C2 or native level).
* Willingness to learn new skills across safety service lines.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients.
* Capability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
Minimum Education and Experience
* Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
* Fluency in English (min. C1) and native German.
