External Package Manager - Freelance (Inside IR35)
Location: Bridgwater
Day Rate: £400 - 500/day

Have you managed subcontractors through envelope to fit out phases?
Looking for a long-term freelance assignment?
My main contractor client is looking for an experienced Build Package Manager to oversee two subcontractors delivering the building envelope and full internal fitout on a new build project. This is a site based role where you will be the main point of contact leading the envelope and fit out of this projects. This role will allow you to have a great impact on the project, currently at design stage.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day to day delivery of envelope and fit out subcontractors
Review programmes, track progress and maintain resourcing levels
Ensure works meet required quality standards and specifications
Drive a strong health & safety culture with regular site checks
Work with design/engineering teams to resolve technical queries
Manage interfaces between envelope, fit out and other trades
Report progress, risks and issues to the wider project team
Lead snagging, completion and architectural handover activities
Experience Required
Previous experience as a Package Manager or Senior Site Manager
Strong background and experience in envelope, facade or cladding delivery
Proven track record managing subcontractors on new build projects
Confident with programme management, quality control and safety
Able to challenge, influence and drive subcontractor performance

This role is inside IR35 and you will be required to cater for your accommodation so ideally we are looking to speak with candidates who are more locally based but this is not a requirement.
