Edgebander Operator Location: Trafford Park, M17 Pay: £12.81 per hour Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Early finish on Fridays) Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Edgebander Operator to join our client’s team in Trafford Park. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with woodworking or manufacturing experience who is looking for a stable, long-term role with room to grow. Responsibilities * Operate edge banding machines to apply edge banding to wood panels and components. * Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed for production quality. * Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to minimise downtime. * Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards. * Keep the work area clean, safe, and organised at all times. * Work closely with team members to achieve production targets and deadlines. Skills & Experience * Previous experience operating edgebanding machinery. * Strong attention to detail and quality control. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. * Excellent communication skills and team spirit. * Experience in woodworking or manufacturing is beneficial but not essential
