We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a water treatment project in Manchester on a 12-month contract basis. This role is ideal for a Site Engineer with strong setting-out and technical experience within the water or utilities sector, working closely with the Site Agent and project team to deliver works safely and to specification. Key Responsibilities: * Setting out for civil engineering works on a water treatment project * Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings and specifications * Managing QA documentation, ITPs, and as-built records * Supporting daily site activities and coordinating with subcontractors * Assisting with short-term planning and progress reporting * Ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards Requirements: * Previous experience as a Site Engineer on water or utilities projects * Strong setting-out and surveying skills * Good understanding of civil engineering and water treatment processes * CSCS card essential * SMSTS or SSSTS preferred * Ability to work independently and as part of a site team * Right to work in the UK What’s on Offer: * 12-month contract on a water treatment scheme * LTD engagement outside IR35 * Competitive day rate of £350 – £430, depending on experience * Long-term opportunity in Manchester If this is something that you are interested in please apply and someone from the team will be in touch
