Shop Manager – Full Time
Position: Shop Manager (SM) – full‑time, permanent.
Hours: 45 hours across 5 days per week.
Location: Castle Retail Park, Nottingham.
We offer a variety of shifts, 5 days a week. Flexibility required, including weekends.
Pay & Benefits
Salary: £32,944 – £38,355 per annum (45‑hour contract).
Holiday: 30 days each year.

Responsibilities
* Lead by example, actively involved in day‑to‑day shop operations.
* Motivate and inspire the team to deliver efficient shop service.
* Recruit, induct, coach, mentor and provide ongoing development for staff.
* Ensure customer satisfaction, quick deliveries and shop routines for a tidy, safe environment.
* Control key shop costs – shrinkage, waste, payroll – to achieve KPI's and report to the area manager.
* Maintain standards in customer service, cash handling, health & safety, stock management, merchandising and presentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.
* Excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate people in a busy environment.
* People person – builds strong working relationships.
* Trustworthy and reliable – a key member of a small team.
* Experience as a manager or assistant manager.
* Full driving licence desirable; not required if other criteria met.
