A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Staffing Compliance Officer to support our professional, fast-paced Temporary Staffing Team.
The Temporary Staffing Team manages and assists with the booking of temporary workers into the electronic booking systems, providing wards and departments with additional appropriately trained staff to support their staffing needs.
The Temporary Staffing Compliance Officer will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate training records to ensure that all bank and agency staff meet Trust requirements related to recruitment, training, and relevant registrations. The role also involves providing administrative support to ensure the effective deployment, management, and payment of temporary staff (bank and agency) in accordance with policies and procedures.
You will be the first point of contact for all temporary staff, assisting with queries such as compliance, booking or cancelling shifts, pay issues, system problems, or general enquiries.
This role is based on-site at the Royal Surrey, and interviews will be conducted in person.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain accurate training records to ensure compliance of bank and agency staff with Trust requirements, and provide administrative support for deployment, management, and payment of staff.
2. Ensure timely and cost-effective management of staffing requirements by liaising with the team, department managers, and ward matrons, documenting flexible staffing needs, and filling shifts via rostering systems.
3. Act as the first point of contact for temporary staff, assisting with compliance, shift bookings or cancellations, pay queries, system issues, or general enquiries.
