Main duties of the job
* Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
* Answer telephone calls, manage queries, and direct calls appropriately
* Book, amend, and cancel appointments using our clinical system (EMIS WEB)
* Process patient registrations and update records accurately
* Handle prescription requests and liaise with clinicians
* Scan, file, and manage incoming correspondence
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to GDPR regulations
* Support clinicians with administrative tasks including medical reports and referrals
* Monitor stock levels and assist with general office duties

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong IT proficiency, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a healthcare setting and familiarity with clinical systems like EMIS or SystmOne would be an advantage, though not essential. Qualifications
* GSCE's in English and Maths or equivalent
Experience
* Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (preferably in healthcare)
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong IT skills and familiarity with clinical systems (EMIS/SystmOne desirable)
* Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
* A caring and professional attitude
* Understanding of patient confidentiality and data protection
