AI Technologist – A&D
Location – Erskine, Newcastle, Farnborough or London

As an AI Technologist, you’ll play a central role in guiding customers through their AI and Data journeys. Working closely with Sales, Account Teams, and our AI Centre of Excellence & Execution (CoEE), you’ll help design tailored strategies that accelerate safe, responsible, and impactful AI adoption. This is a pre‑sales and enablement role, combining strategic thinking, customer engagement, and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead collaborative, strategic discussions with customers to shape their AI and Data roadmap.
2. Identify opportunities where AI can have real-world impact — and co-create use cases that matter.
3. Tell powerful stories that communicate the value of AI using demos, prototypes, and relatable business outcomes.
4. Partner with sales teams to define AI‑driven solutions aligned with client goals.
5. Develop and present industry-specific use cases with clear, measurable impact.
6. Support proposals, solution scoping, and customer presentations.
7. Ensure a smooth handover from strategy to delivery, building trust throughout the customer journey.
8. Demonstrate both technical credibility and business insight, helping customers feel confident at every step.
9. Stay on top of emerging AI trends, especially those shaping Aerospace and Defence.
10. Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, mentoring, and community growth.
11. Represent our organization at client events, forums, and industry discussions.
Key Skills & Experience
12. Experience in AI / Data solutioning, pre‑sales, consulting, AI product roles, or AI‑focused innovation.
13. Knowledge of one or more key industries: A&D, Finance, Healthcare, Government, or Life Sciences.
14. Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks, Data platforms, and Cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, GCP).
15. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
16. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills - especially with senior leaders.
17. Experience collaborating with both sales and delivery teams.
