The Borgen Project is an international organization that works at the political level to improve living conditions for people impacted by war, famine, and poverty. With 20 years of experience, it has supported the passage of numerous bills benefiting nearly 500 million people in developing countries.
Role Overview
This is a part-time, 12-hour per week, 12-week unpaid remote programme. If your availability is limited, you can work ahead and complete the programme in fewer weeks. The role focuses on raising awareness of our work and includes:
* Creating a branding campaign
* Conducting informal focus groups and gathering feedback for market research
* Pitching story ideas to print, broadcast, and digital media
* Creating and implementing a fundraising strategy
* Planning, marketing, and presenting at informational meetings
* Utilizing social media and developing strategies for web-based messaging
* Assisting with The Borgen Project's advocacy efforts
Qualifications
No prior experience is necessary. We seek passionate individuals committed to fighting poverty and advocating for change, regardless of GPA or background.
Details
This is an unpaid programme, although college credit is available. New programmes begin every month, and you can choose your start date.
