Role Overview
We are looking for a Theatre Staff Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner to work in a Rural General Hospital with a wide range of surgical specialties including day case elective general surgery, cataracts, oculoplastics, dentals, gynaecology and endoscopy.
Responsibilities
* Provide efficient and high‑quality theatre service across all specialties.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering safe and patient‑centred care.
* Maintain high standards of clinical practice and promote continuous improvement.
* Support and train newly qualified staff and develop your own clinical skills.
Qualifications
* Registered nurse with valid RN registration.
* Experience in peri‑operative care is desirable.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.

Working Hours and Requirements
Permanent full‑time 36‑hour post, Monday to Friday with overnight and weekend on‑call rotations as required. A valid driver’s licence is required.
