Talent-UK are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver/ Warehouse Operative on behalf of their client, a successful manufacturing business in the Brighouse area, the role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis, working regular days Monday to Friday, with ongoing training and development.
Key responsibilities for the FLT Driver/ Warehouse Operative role:
Loading and unloading vehicles with the FLT
Pack Finished Goods ready for despatch, including wrapping and labelling.
Order picking with the use of handheld scanners
Carrying out stock checks on a regular basis
General upkeep and housekeeping of the warehouse environment with focus.
Experience of the FLT Driver/ Warehouse Operative:
Proven experience of working in a warehouse/ logistics environment
FLT Counterbalance & Reach experience (in house licence and expired licences accepted)
Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Computer literate – worked on warehouse systems
Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
Worked within a fast-paced environment
What is in return for the FLT Driver/ Warehouse Operative:
Hourly rate of £12.21 per hour rising to £12.72 once fully trained
Working 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 4pm on Friday
Weekly pay (PAYE) plus Holidays
Ongoing training provided to up-skill further
