Applications are invited for the post of Senior Administrative Assistant for the Community Pharmacy Team.
This post will be responsible for defined parts of projects or for small projects and will provide PA support to Director of Pharmacy together with ensuring administrative and clerical support to the Pharmacy Services Team Director of Pharmacy; Associate Director of Pharmacy (Community Pharmacy & CD Governance); Data Analyst and Community Pharmacy Services Business Manager with regard to managing community and primary care pharmaceutical services.
A large proportion of the post holder's time will be spent working with the Data Analyst to assist with the interrogation and preparation of various software systems and transfer this data and manipulate it using Excel to produce graphs, tables and spreadsheets, ensuring the data is presented in accordance with differing roles/needs., also providing support to the Data Analyst working with Prescribing Information System for Scotland (PIS) for iSD with the Patient Group Direction (PGD) administration process, compilation of National Therapeutic Indicators, Prescribing Efficiencies reports and Practice Visit reports.
The post holder will also be responsible for producing weekly statistical reports in preparation of Pharmacy Data Analyst forwarding to relevant personnel as well as accessing the Prescribing Information System for Scotland (PRISMS) information and Prescription Information System (PIS) to run prebuilt reports. Extract, transfer and update these data, paying strict attention to accuracy, and manipulate them using Excel spreadsheets to produce graphs and tables, to support the Pharmacy Data Analyst Specialist to meet the pharmacy and prescribing intelligence needs in NHS Highland.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES
1. Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
