We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management and possess excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the company's fleet, including all vehicles and equipment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve fleet efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of fleet maintenance, repairs, and expenses.
- Manage a team of drivers and mechanics, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
- Conduct regular fleet audits to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Monitor fuel usage and implement strategies to reduce fuel consumption.
- Negotiate and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Prepare and present reports on fleet performance and budget to senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management.
- Knowledge of transportation laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in using fleet management software.
- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Valid driver's license.
