An exciting new job opportunity is now available for a committed Senior Support Worker to work in a brand new nursing home opened in the summer of 2024 in the Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers.
This flagship nursing home is located in the historic market town of Olney, offering elegance and luxury living with superb facilities designed for resident wellbeing, conveniently located on the edge of town.
Required qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
Key Duties
* Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents.
* Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals.
* Contribute to care planning and coach support workers.
* Promote services when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries.
* Update and write care plans and resident documentation.
* Make and report realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care.
* Administer medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures.
Preferred Skills and Experience
* Proven experience of working in a care setting.
* A good team player.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* A genuine desire to care for others.

Salary: £13.50 per hour (annual £25,272). Permanent full-time role working through a mix of shifts.
