Key Responsibilities of Head chef:
* Full responsibility for the daily operation of a small café (working alone)
* Preparing and serving fresh breakfasts and lunches
* Menu planning within agreed budgets and client expectations
* Ordering, stock control, and minimising waste
* Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
* Delivering friendly, consistent service to regular customers
* Managing all kitchen paperwork (HACCP, allergen compliance, etc.)
About you:
* Previous experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up
* Comfortable working independently as a one-person team
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Passion for fresh, simple, well-executed food
* Solid knowledge of food safety and allergen legislation
