Product Owner - Engineering Platform - Leeds (Hybrid working) - Inside IR35
My client a leading Telecoms company is looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead the vision, strategy, and delivery of a modern engineering platform that accelerates developer productivity and supports a major transformation roadmap. You'll work closely with multiple engineering teams, architects, and stakeholders to define platform capabilities and ensure technical excellence.
Responsibilities
* Define and communicate the platform vision and maintain a strategic roadmap.
* Collaborate with engineering teams, architects, and business stakeholders.
* Own and prioritise the product backlog; write clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
* Drive delivery of secure, scalable solutions with engineering teams.
* Champion best practices (CI/CD, DevSecOps, cloud-native principles).
* Monitor platform performance and developer satisfaction for continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager in platform engineering or DevOps.
* Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
* Agile experience with cross-functional teams.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
Desirable
* CSPO or equivalent certification.
* Experience in large-scale digital transformation programs.
