Job Title: Packing Assistant
Location: Whitstable, Kent
Salary: £23,809.50
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Role Summary:
As a Packing Assistant, will be responsible for filling, labelling and packaging a variety products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires precision, dexterity and the ability to work well within a team.
Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:
Operate filling equipment to dispense products into jars, bottles and tubes.
Apply labels and batch codes to products with accuracy and consistency.
Pack finished products into cartons or cases for distribution.
Conduct basic quality checks to ensure product standards are met.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment in line with hygiene protocols.
Meet daily production targets while maintaining high-quality output.
Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
Assist with general production and warehouse duties as required.Experience and skills required for this position:
Previous experience in packing.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately.
Good team player with effective communication skills.
Physically able to stand for long periods and perform manual handling tasks.
Willingness to learn and follow established processes and procedures.
Basic understanding of health, safety and hygiene requirements.Next steps:
