About the role
The Leicester Kidney Lifestyle Team is seeking a new Associate Professor to join as a full-time member in a research-focused position. The post will be hosted within the College of Life Sciences at the University of Leicester. The successful applicant will join the Leicester Kidney Lifestyle Team, supporting and driving research related to the £4 million kidney lifestyle research program. This program focuses on the clinical translation of research findings using implementation science. Candidates should have relevant backgrounds in kidney health research or related medical conditions, as well as experience in clinical translation of research or implementation science.
This is a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to help deliver aspects of the funded kidney lifestyle research program while being supported to develop their own research to expand the team's scope, including the development and delivery of new research activities.
The University of Leicester prides itself on the diversity of its student population and being an inclusive employer. We encourage applications from candidates who reflect the diversity of our student body, local communities, and society. We especially welcome applications from Black, Asian, and minority ethnic candidates, as this group is currently underrepresented at the university.
