We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Team Manager to provide leadership, support and guidance within our Disabled Children’s Service for our Mid & East Team.
Our Disabled Children’s Service is responsible for managing a wide range of statutory duties when supporting children throughout their journey, including assessment, child in need, child protection, children in care and transition to adulthood planning. Improving the life chances of disabled children and young people in Devon, we work passionately with families who need extra help or specialist support to look after their children and keep them safe.
About the Role
As a Team Manager within our Disabled Children’s Service you will be joining a strong, established and committed management team, working together to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families in Devon. Collaborating closely with a wide range of agencies within health, education, care and the community, you will promote joined up planning in partnership with children, young people and their families to promote and achieve the best possible outcomes.
You will embed a high-performance, supportive culture through the promotion of good practice within your team, working together to reduce risk. Through reflective supervision with your team, you'll champion personal and professional growth, encouraging continual professional development for all staff.
Building on strengths, you will work towards achieving positive and sustainable outcomes, ensuring quality standards are maintained whilst championing restorative practice.
There is a minimum expectation for three days a week in the office.
The role is currently eligible for the £2000 annual retention payment.
