Quality Inspector

A GBP 26,000 : A GBP 30,000 per annum
Hours of work Monday to Thursday 7.30am : 4pm and Friday 7.30am : 3pm (39hrs per week)

Are you an experienced Engineering Apprentice or time served within Manufacturing: looking for a new opportunity? Would you like to work for a successful, Global Manufacturing Business ?
The Role
You will be conducting internal audits, conduct and record calibration activities and be responsible for measurement and inspection of turned, ground and assembled components.
Key Responsibilities :
* Inspection of in:process and completed components within turning/grinding and assembly departments
* Goods:in inspection and documentation (materials, components and subcontract)
* Conduct internal audits
* Assist with machine trials
Required Skills :
* Ability to read and use manual inspection equipment including micrometers, Verniers and protractors
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
* Good understanding of Word and Excel
* Highly motivated
* Attention to detail
Experience and Education
* Qualified to HNC level or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline
* Completed Engineering Apprenticeship
* Internal Auditing qualification
* Time Served in either quality focussed role or within manufacturing
Salary and Benefits
* Salary between A GBP 26,000 and A GBP 30,000 dependent on Skills and Experience
* Benefits; 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (FTE), pension scheme, private health care option, cycle to work scheme, free coffee/tea.
