You’ll review cases, prepare matters for court, and provide clear, timely legal advice across a range of local authority prosecutions. This is a hands‑on role requiring someone confident in managing a high‑volume caseload and able to attend court and the office on an ad hoc basis. Key Responsibilities Lead on non‑school attendance prosecutions (experience essential) Review evidence, prepare cases, and provide legal advice Manage and progress a varied caseload of local authority prosecutions Prepare court documentation and represent the authority where required Work collaboratively with internal teams and partner agencies About You Qualified lawyer with experience in non‑school attendance cases Strong understanding of local authority prosecution work Confident preparing and presenting cases for court Able to work independently and respond flexibly to workload peaks
