As a Class 1 Driver you will receive the following benefits: Excellent Hourly Rates Ongoing Work Weekly Pay Onsite Canteen Training Provided Immediate Starts Employee Well-being Program Rates of Pay: Basic: £17.30 per hour guaranteed 9 hours Overtime after 9.5 hours: £25.95 per hour Day to Day Duties: Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to: Delivering Forklifts to clients Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly - full training will be given. Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed - full training will be given Essential Skills As a Class 1 Driver you will need to: Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving CE vehicles, no more than 6 month break. No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Training: Driver's Assessment will have to be completed After successful Assessment, you will have 4-5 shifts with expereinced driver before going out on your own.
