Teaching Assistant - Secondary School

Veritas Education is working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Twickenham to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from September.

Key Responsibilities
Support students across KS3 and KS4 in accessing the curriculum
Work closely with teaching staff to deliver targeted interventions
Assist in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment
Provide one-to-one and small group support where required
Help students develop confidence, independence, and resilience
Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting
A passion for supporting students with a range of needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible, proactive, and committed to making a difference
A genuine interest in education and student wellbeingThe school is particularly keen to meet candidates who are either:
Considering a future career in education (e.g. teaching, educational psychology, SEN support), or
From a psychology background and interested in applying their knowledge in a practical, student-centred environmentThis is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, work closely with students, and become part of a nurturing and inclusive school community.
