Learning Support and Development is offered through a team of specialists who work closely, both with individual students and with teachers.
Joining us as a Senior Learning Support Assistant, you will play an important role in helping our pupils to take an active role in their own learning, challenging them to ask questions, think critically, and respond positively to feedback. Our SLSAs provide clarification, explanation, motivation and encouragement to the pupil, giving specific help in weak areas, promoting study skills and encouraging independence. As a Senior LSA you will also take responsibility for planning lessons for individual students where support is delivered on an individual or small group basis.
