Job Description Salary: NHS: Band 4 £29,116 - £31,670 per annum (37 Hours) Council: Grade 5 £29,380 - £31,096 per annum (35 Hours) Make an Impact - Join Our Team! West Dunbartonshire Health & Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is seeking a Business Support Officer to provide high-level, confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Senior Management Team. In this key role you will ensure the smooth running of daily operations, manage complex schedules, coordinate meetings and handle sensitive information with discretion. Your ability to anticipate needs, manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively will be essential in supporting the strategic leadership of the HSCP. What You'll Be Doing: * Providing professional, confidential administrative support to the Senior Management Team. * Managing diaries, meetings and communications across both NHS and Council systems. * Preparing reports, briefings and correspondence with precision. * Taking minutes and tracking key actions to ensure follow-up. * Handling enquiries from internal and external stakeholders with professionalism. * Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to efficient service delivery. What We're Looking For: * Experience providing executive-level administrative support in a busy environment. * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * A high level of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Requirements What you'll bring to the role:· HNC/SVQ3 in a relevant discipline or equivalent relevant experience Minute taking skills Experience in working at a corporate level Experience of working in a pressurised environment Experience of using Microsoft Office packages Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Good numeracy and literacy skills Responsibilities Key tasks will include but are not restricted to: Provide confidential, comprehensive, professional secretarial and administrative support to the Senior Management Team. Minute taking (experience is essential). Work collaboratively with all members of the Business Support Team and colleagues across the organisation Have a good understanding of the HSCP’s corporate agenda and the services delivered via each service area. Extensive diary management and forward planning to include the management of meetings, functions and appointments across Council and NHS systems.
