Senior Branded Entertainment Manager (maternity cover)

The Role
Working alongside the VP of Global Branded Entertainment providing support to all branded/commercial teams globally (in some instances where there is no commercial team in place, supporting producers as well). Acting as the first port of call for agencies and brands when handling global briefs and functioning as the liaison between Fremantle territories and the brands/agencies.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
* Be a direct point of contact on queries for information from global territories regarding branded/sponsorship.
* Assisting on long-tail and urgent briefs from brands and agencies, compiling last-minute presentations and materials with quick turnaround for multiple territories. This involves communicating with Global Development and our local branded teams quickly and efficiently in order to provide quick responses to RFPs.
* Briefing and working with the development team to deliver suitable branded content ideas to potential clients and agencies.
* Attend brand and media agency meetings independently or alongside VP Branded Entertainment to keep updated with current activity and market needs.
* Collating information from each territory to compile best practice case studies around each travelling format to form the'Global Sponsorship Guidelines'. Managing the team coordinator to ensure that guidelines are delivered to global teams on time.
* To present and assist with branded workshops with local production teams and broadcasters in preparation for any upcoming shows – some travel may be involved, for example, holding a branded workshop in Cologne with the producers and commercial teams in preparation for The X Factor Germany or presenting on best practice in branded entertainment around our shows to a room full of producers in Milan.
* To present on branded opportunities either alongside VP of Branded Entertainment or alone, during Flying Producer workshops with local production teams and broadcasters – UK based workshops only.
* Have quarterly catch ups with Syco to catch upon all branded deals and opportunities around Got Talent & X Factor.
* New Business: creating new business opportunities with brands and agencies. Running relationships with media and creative agencies. Presenting Fremantle slate, actively seeking RFPs and managing their delivery. More time to be spent on nurturing additional agency relationships to build upon Fremantle's opportunities within the branded sector. Reach out regularly to agencies listing current Fremantle formats and opportunities to drive discussion around Fremantle formats.
* Work on Advertiser-Funded programming propositions with global and local production companies against briefs from brands and agencies, along the lines of the deal.
* Working with audience development and YouTube management to assist in the growth of Fremantle's digital inventory trading.Working with the Digital and Branded Entertainment team in LA to create bespoke direct sales packages in response to briefs, as well as seeking out opportunities for sales during discussions with Fremantle territories, agencies and brands.
* Keeping an eye on Flying Producer reports and ensuring that they have all the support they need in the branded entertainment area during their travels.
Profile and Key Competencies
* Strict attention to detail
* Ability to manage team coordinator in order to achieve deadlines
* Good presentation skills in Keynote (and PowerPoint on occasion)
* Good active knowledge of global broadcasters
* Good active knowledge of FM's existing and upcoming global formats
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Genuine love of TV shows, especially entertainment formats and game shows
