Introduction
ArcelorMittal South Africa is looking to recruit a Diesel Electrical Fitter at Iron Making.
* Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
* Perform maintenance and breakdown repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel, and petrol equipment.
* Perform repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
* Determine the root cause of equipment failures and prevent future occurrences.
* Conduct fault finding and resolve problems.
* Approach work methodically and structurally, including problem identification and solving.
* Maintain good housekeeping of the equipment maintenance workshops.
* Safety conscious.
Qualification:
* Grade 12 / N3 / NCV 3 (NQF 4/10).
Personal Attributes:
* Good communication skills (Verbal and written).
* Enthusiastic, self-driven, and highly motivated.
* Ability to work independently.
* Work well under pressure.
* Able to relate and cooperate with plant personnel.
