Broomfield Primary School wishes to appoint a highly motivated and inspiring teacher to effectively manage and lead SEND provision across the school. We are looking to appoint someone who can demonstrate experience of working with children with a range of additional needs and a knowledge of the SEND Framework. Broomfield Primary School staff are committed to providing high quality teaching and learning for all children and the post represents an ideal opportunity to work in a happy, friendly, positive environment.
The successful candidate will hold the National SENDCo qualification or be working towards completing the qualification. We are looking for someone who:
· is passionate about making learning accessible and enjoyable
· can support staff in developing their knowledge and expertise in working with SEND children
· liaises closely and effectively with parents and outside agencies in Essex
· has good communication skills
· can effectively implement statutory and regulatory frameworks
· works closely with the Senior Leadership Team and Governors
· is responsible for the personalised learning of identified pupils
· can manage the Learning Support Assistant Team.
