Overview
Health Innovation East has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our rapidly expanding Health Informatics team. The role focuses on designing, coordinating, and delivering complex, multi-stakeholder health data programmes that unlock the value of health data across the NHS, research, and life sciences sectors. The post holder will provide structured plans, progress assurance, and early escalation of risks & issues. The successful candidate will bring strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a solid understanding of project management principles, ideally in health, life sciences or digital/data technology settings.
Hours of work: 37.5 hrs/week (full time) or 0.8 FTE. Deadline: 11:59pm Sunday 23 November. Date of interview: two stage process – 4 December and 10 December.
Responsibilities
* Lead the design, coordination, and delivery of complex health data programmes within the Health Informatics team.
* Provide structured project plans, progress tracking, and risk/issue escalation.
* Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across the NHS, research, and life sciences sectors.
* Apply project management principles and adapt to health, life sciences, or digital/data technology contexts.
Qualifications and Skills
* Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Solid understanding of project management principles, preferably in health, life sciences or digital/data technology settings.

* This is a hybrid role with 2–3 days per month in the Cambridge office (more frequently if preferred).
