We have been in business over 60 years and specialise in the supplying and fixing of beautiful natural stone, engineered stone and terrazzo for kitchen & bar tops and bathrooms.
We have our spacious contemporary offices, warehouse and factory here at our 6-acre facility in Fishponds, Bristol, with plenty of secure parking.
We have a very low turnover of staff as we all love working here!

Sales Administrator Job description
Our busy Showroom services mainly the Retail side of our business, and works closely with many kitchen and bathroom companies, dealing with their customers as well as with many Retail customers on a daily basis. We are looking to recruit a full time Showroom Consultant to join our friendly team.
The qualities we are looking for are:
* Enthusiasm! Chirpiness! Having a positive and can-do attitude!
* Excellent telephone communication skills and the ability to chat with our customers over the phone in a fun and efficient manner
* Ability to accurately process orders on the computer system
* A sense of humour and a smile!
* Taking the initiative and being patient and calm when problems arise
* An ability to work within a team and within the warmth of a family company
* Looking for a long-term permanent job (no job hoppers!)
* Computer literate, basic excel knowledge
* Must be very well presented and smart
* We work in a smoke free environment
- Don’t worry! full training on all aspects of this lovely role (including knowledge on stone) will be given!
This busy and varied job (no day is the same!) involves:
* Taking lots of phone calls
* Speaking to and meeting with members of the public
* Showing our customers around our slabs yard and warehouse to view our gorgeous stone
* Liaising with our factory foreman in a factory environment
* Taking off lots of drawings and lots of quoting (using Excel)
* Ability to be accurate with drawings and figures, in general
* Liaising with our fixers
* Accurately inputting sales orders onto our system to give to our factory
* Accurately dealing with paperwork in general
* Juggling lots of different tasks!
* Ability to touch type/type fast an advantage
37.5 hours per week = 4 week days and 1 Saturday morning:
Monday 8.00am - 5.30pm with an hour for lunch
Tuesday OR Thursday 8.00am - 5.30pm with an hour for lunch
Wednesday 8.00am - 5.30pm with an hour for lunch
Friday 8.30am - 5pm with a ½ hour for lunch
Saturday Mornings 4 hours (Yummy breakfast provided! And no Saturday working on a Bank Holiday weekend!)
