Our client is currently seeking a Facilities/Stock Coordinator to join their team and play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of their facilities and stock management processes.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee inventory levels of supplies, equipment, and materials
2. Regularly check stock levels and reorder as necessary to prevent shortages
3. Ensure accuracy and completeness of paperwork when ordering stock
4. Maintain and update stock information on the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for efficient tracking
5. Compare received items against orders to verify accuracy and address discrepancies promptly
6. Perform essential repairs and maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting
7. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and address issues promptly
8. Coordinate with specialised contractors for more complex repairs or projects as needed
9. Welcome visitors and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments or individuals
10. Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distribution, and organisation
