A specialist manufacturer in Abingdon is looking for an experienced assembler with wiring and soldering experience to join their growing production team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in mechanical and electrical assembly, who is also confident working alone or as part of the team in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out wiring of systems and products using electrical drawings and technical instructions
* Participate in the mechanical assembly of components and full systems
* Fostering a positive and productive work environment
* Identify areas for improvement, and liaise with supervisors to resolve issues
* Ensure all health, safety, and quality control procedures are followed
Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven experience in an assembly role, with strong wiring and hand soldering skills
* Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and instructions
* Effective communicator, able to coordinate across departments and with senior management
* Proactive, organised.

Salary offered is between £24,500 - £26k depending on experience, a quarterly company performance bonus, 25 days holiday, pension, hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm.
