Gloucestershire (M5 corridor) – Secure work / life balance opportunity
Circa £50 to 70K depending on experience.
Since the 1970’s my client, a successful small British manufacturing company, has become a world recognised specialist, producing advanced machinery for the plastic & rubber extrusion sectors.
The company is led by a small, but proactive Senior Management Team. There is a role in this team for a Technical Manager (or Engineer who aspires to be a Technical Manager); Are you ready for the challenge?
Specifically, the Technical Manager is responsible for leading the engineering and technical department to design, develop, and improve their special purpose machinery. Taking responsibility for the entire product lifecycle, your goal is to maintain technical excellence while ensuring production deadlines and cost targets are met.
Ideally the company would be looking for a Degree in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering with several experience in industrial machinery manufacturing, preferably with automated servo motion control systems including, familiarity with servo and PLC programming; a good knowledge of 3D CAD software (SolidWorks ideally) would be advantageous.
The company is located just off the M5 in Gloucestershire and the choice of accommodation is varied and affordable, and the social scene for both family, and non-family orientated people, is second to none in the UK.
