Chest Heart and Stroke – Peer Support Group Volunteer (Largs)
Chest Heart and Stroke are looking for a volunteer to help out at their Peer Support Group in Largs. The main duties would include:
* Booking and paying for the meeting room
* Banking cash collected at the group
* Organising any day trips the group decides to do
The group meets from 10-12 in Largs Library.
Experience required
No formal skills are required but a willingness to help others whilst being patient. Good communication skills and the ability to deal with others outside of the group (e.g., banks and bus companies) are helpful.
Volunteers (aged 11-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity. Find out more.
