Junior Product Manager Location:Ballymena Start Date:Immediate Type:Full-time, permanent or open to self-employed contractors Rate:Negotiable, depending on experience Working days:Hybrid working 3 days in-office, 2 days remote working Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Product Managerto take ownership of client communication and product management. You will serve as the key link between clients and internal teams, ensuring client needs are validated and clearly translated into actionable development tasks, priorities are well-managed, and projects are delivered smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for clients on all product-related communication, including discovery calls, feedback sessions, and regular progress updates. Translate client requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team. Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment between client priorities, business goals, and technical feasibility. Support with shaping the product vision, product discoverys and defining success metrics. Collaborate with sales, development team, designers, and QA to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes. Monitor progress, identify risks, and proactively communicate or escalate issues when needed. Facilitate sprint planning, review, and retrospective sessions to support continuous improvement. Contribute to the ongoing refinement of product management and delivery processes What youll need to succeed Proven experience in product management, product ownership, or similar client-facing roles. Proven experience in business acumen, understanding ROI and managing scope. Proven experience in balancing user needs, feasibility, constraints, technical trade-offs and whats good for the business. Strong communication, organisation, and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders Experience working with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar) Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup, typically 12 days per week in-office (flexible based on project needs) Preferred Qualifications Background in software development lifecycle, UX/UI design, or technical delivery Prior experience managing client relationships in a software or digital product environment Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with attention to detail Equal Opportunities:We are an Equal Opportunities Employerand welcome applications from all sections of the community.
