Are you an experienced transport planner in general haulage looking for an exciting opportunity within a market leading company?
Job type: Permanent
Hours: 4 on/4 off days
Salary: Up to £32, per annum
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and support a fleet of drivers on a daily basis
* Monitoring driver times, progress, providing ETAs to ensure good time keeping
* Route planning
* Ensure compliance with all transport legislation and company policies
* Communicate effectively with customers regarding delays, changes or updates
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a transport planner
* Legal compliance knowledge – Tachographs, infringements, WTDs
* Excellent UK geographical knowledge
* Organised and able to work on own initiative
