Mencap is seeking Relief Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Stowmarket.
As a Relief Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. Your role involves supporting a diverse group of people, each with unique abilities and needs.
You will assist with daily activities and provide emotional support, playing a vital role in their lives.
What we're looking for:
* A genuine passion for supporting others
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities
This role requires you to be a driver.
Contract options:
* All our services are 24-hour care. We prepare rotas at least 4 weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your personal and social life.
* There is also a non-contractual sleep-in option, where you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70.
