About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. You’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to our residents.
Responsibilities
* Plan and implement the kind of care that gives residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence.
* Get to know residents and their families and deliver personalised care plans.
* Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care; influence the rest of the team.
* Assist residents with daily activities (e.g., using a walking frame, eating, communicating with families).
* Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager; provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities; administer medication.
* Maintain accurate records of the work you do and build strong relationships with the team.
Qualifications
* Ideally, Level 2 Diploma in Adult Social Care and working towards Level 3 or equivalent; background in person-centred care planning and dementia care knowledge.
* Brilliant positive energy and ability to get along with people; strong record keeping; good time management; kind and considerate communication with residents and coworkers.
