Overview

Field Sales Executive - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

FMCG – Drinks including alcohol

Bedford, Bedfordshire - Field Based

Up to £32k (depending on experience) plus company car & bonus + benefits

The opportunity:

A global drinks brand with an amazing culture is looking for a BDE to grow sales within Buckinghamshire / Northamptonshire / Bedfordshire area.


Responsibilities

* Customer Management: Building strong relationships with customers, developing mutually beneficial relationships, credibility & trust
* Identifying business development opportunities: Identifying business development opportunities & converting these into triple win plans & activations
* Activation: Converting head office agreed plans within your customer base into actual activations whilst searching for additional opportunities to maximise impact
* Execution: Maximising the impact of commercial plans by using all appropriate levers
* Feature space: Agreeing and building feature space in prime locations in store/depot and secondary sites
* Brand exposure: Creating high exposure and impact of brands in line with promotional plans in accounts
* Financial Management: Managing your territory profit & loss (P&L) to ensure growth. Right product, right place, right consumer
* JBP alignment: Creating JBP’s that are aligned to the commercial priorities and are in line with the key account teams’ plans


Who will I be working with?

* Your line manager and the key account teams
* Customers from the Wholesale, Convenience and Out of Home Foodservice channels


A great candidate will have:

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
* Experience of a sales environment is preferred although not essential
* A tenacious and entrepreneurial approach
* Financial numeracy and competent use of Microsoft Office applications
* Motivation and ability to learn rapidly (new tasks, processes & ways of working)
* A basic understanding of the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) marketplace, its key players and projected market dynamics
